Trafalgar Brass was founded in 1986 by Tony Nash (on the left of the picture).

The members of the group are all freelance professional musicians working in and around London.

The group has performed in venues ranging from a living room in Hampstead to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, starred in Radio 2's "Friday Night is Music Night", recorded with the choir of St Bride's, Fleet Street and provided music for numerous functions, weddings, graduation ceremonies and parties.

The normal line-up of the ensemble is a brass quintet (two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba), although other combinations of instruments are available.

The group's repertoire covers the whole spectrum of music from renaissance dances to jazz and pop arrangements. Arrangements of particular works can be made to order, given sufficient warning!

Since the untimely death of Tony Nash in 1998 the group has been jointly run by Danny Scott and Alan Jones.

Details of the recent CD recording can be viewed here and some sound clips are here.
